We are seeking apprentices to develop their careers within our state of the art manufacturing facilities. We have vacancies within our Machining and Fabrication divisions.
Industries we work for include Defence, Nuclear, Aerospace and Power Generation. Utilising the latest technology we manufacture high integrity components, fabrications and assemblies from a range of materials.

The aim of the apprenticeship program within Manthorpe Engineering is to train people to become skilled engineers within their chosen field who can then build a successful career within the company. We will ensure their skills and knowledge are developed alongside their college based training. This process will involve on the job training and will include operations aligned to your chosen discipline.

On completion of the apprenticeship it is expected that the qualified apprentice will be competent at their chosen discipline, (although guidance and training will still be available). We have a graded pay scale to reward further progression reflecting skills and experience. The business also has a track record of apprentices progressing to other roles (i.e. manufacturing engineering, sales, etc) as opportunities arise.

We are seeking candidates withgood interpersonal and communication skills, good IT knowledge of commonly used Office software and GCSE qualifications of Level 4 and above in Maths and English.
